Hello, Freak can you email me a pix of a boss seat on a rx1, flat top or high rise, how much taller is flat top than a stock seat and how much taller is a high rise. I cant get any see any pick of it, my email is kbh@puc.net. Thanks

I went to Boss today and they have an RX1 sitting on the floor and the RX1 seat has been RE-fitted. They found where they went wrong and have fixed it. I was told that the seats that are back for adjustment should start going out this week. knock on wood. I am also designing a custom Seat for the RX1 that will be available for order. This seat will be a high rise and will go up to the fuel cap like other high rises. This is for those who want to remove the cowling that goes over the top of the tank. It will also drop off and end right before the muffler. You will be able to run this seat with the cutout for the exhaust underneath or you could just run it on a flat tunnel if you have changed the tunnel. This gives you future options. Also I just wanted mention some things about Boss. Boss is the only seat to have. They build seats for almost all makes and models of Snowmobiles. They do have a tendency to get overwhelmed with orders at certain times of the year. There staff is trained and skilled in building custom seats, something that I could not do, and they cannot hire staff with those skills to work only 2 months a year. They are constantly developing new options for seats which take time and R&D. The RX1 is the most complicated snowmobile seat ever put out by a manufacturer and Boss is making them for the same price as any of there other seats. They always stand behind their products, if you are not happy then they take it back and fix it for you no questions asked.
Yes they do tell people their seats will be done before they are sometimes but who doesnt in this industry? And bottom line is that there is no comparison between a Boss seat and the others out there. When the wait is over and you get your Boss Seat you will be happy with it.

Boss seat fits my carbon fiber tunnel great , with the two inch kick in my tunnel its almost a perfect fit. Would have been nice to be a flat top though and about 2 inches longer in the middle inside where the exhaust
