broken front shock and front arm

i have an 08 rtx converted to 144 and broke the shock and front arm and was wondering what would cause this and what my best options are for fixing it.
should i put a different suspension in it or just fix it what shocks work best for the center.
would love some input and opinions
i am an aggressive rider that spends 50% of time on trail

Where did it break? Have any pics?

shock snapped at very top of shaft and arm at top left weld just left of the strap

Was it from the track rubbing through the eye? Was it the shock mount on the shaft that broke?

How many miles on the sled?

top of shock is still mounted where the clicker is it broke just below that.

is there a better and easier shock i should replace it with and anyone know anyone with a front pivot arm for sale

Oh, sorry, I thought you had an XTX. I don't think an XTX arm will work in then RTX, but you can likely find a used one for an RTX as well.

they break....buy the new (updated) one or weld it up with some support. I used a piece of angel iron

edit...angle ......although, a few angels never hurt anyone

If I order a new one will it be the updated one or do I have to have a specific part number and any suggestions on a shock to replace on it or should I just have this one fixed?
