I broke a grease fitting on my Sled
My question is I assume you use an easy out to remove the broken grease fitting
Any ides on what kind to use?
And does yamahe use a special fitting or is any fitting ok?

Thanks for any help...

Grease fitting come out easy if you did not strip it in if you dont have a easyout you can grind a 3 corner File to go in an turn if it dosnt come right out go for a easy out both kinds are the same left handed spiral or the tapers square ones I think they are regular fitting ,STEVE

I have an 05 Vector ER and I have a question about the grease fittings on the rear suspension. It appears that on the rear suspension, the fittings are welded on. I had to use a punch to open the fitting on the top one. What do you say,Groomerdriver?

On my RX1 '05 I installed some cuz they didn't have any and here's how I did mine, I took a 1/4" nut that had same thread as my zerks and BRAZED them on the the proper location and drilled out smaller than the actual nut and thread in your new zerk and used a matching paint to touch up the brazed area, a little trick use damp cloths on either sides of the area being brazed to keep things a cooler... ;)!
