broken radiator tab

i have an 06 apex er and the bottom tab on the radiator is broken,can this be welded or do i need to buy a new one

If you still have warranty, they will cover it. New rad is stronger.

heard this alot before.....mine still going strong but i have heavy zipties on mine just incase!...you dont want it rub the brake rotor and be stuck on trail with no coolant!

new ones are stronger,but not sure which model year they got stronger.

i don't have Y.E.S. and a new radiator is $205,i'm thinking the heavy zip ties are the way to go for now until i can hunt down a used one. How did you attach them?

The one on my sled has been welded and seems to be fine. Been that way the last two years with no problems (acording to previous owner) and when I serviced machine for the year I checked it over real good and seem very strong. If nothing else have it welded and zip tie it.
