4 strokes seem to be about $100 PER horsepower. There is NO cheap way to get horsepower out of these new 4 strokes.
Turbo is the best option if you really want serious power. Or, do like everyone does, spend a couple grand on bolt on parts, then later on decide you should have just bought a turbo lol

hurricane turbo kits are 2895 to get to 180 hp. on sale now for limited time. i was in the same boat as you. i have a clutch kit and wanted to do a header, pipe, intake, and pcv. that will get you to 145ish. for about 1600. about 100 a hp. (not adding cost of a clutch for either way) the turbo kit gets you to 180 on 5lbs of boost, (6 is max). add a gauge kit and it is about 3400 for a 60 hp gain. thats 57 bucks a hp. i ordered mine two nights ago and i am installing it myself. says to be an easy 3 hour install. im glad i went this route. will see how the instal goes next week.

Now at 2995 the MPI turbo is a heck of a deal all you need to add is the gauges - A MUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and do not get the KOSO all in one gauge.

OR, buy 3k in parts and spend half the season tunning trying to get all those parts to work together and still not have 190hp

If thinking turbo MPI has a kit for 2995.00 or close to. Wavers nice kit!
If you don't want turbo, I would get a header, hindle is out there Excell is out there. I would get a powercomander 5 I would get the K&N filters, and get a clutch kit from Ulmer. Throw so,e dupont's on there. And that's pretty close to as much as you can do before turbo or getting into your motor. There is a pipe out there also, but to me for how loud they are I would look at MPI, they have a quiet muffler and it is pretty quiet, but better flowing than stock. All of that will cost around 3500-4000 dollars. There are some that have the whole kit at one price and that might be a little cheaper.
