I know that this topic has been blown out of the water way too much, but i am looking to raise the handlebars on my 09 vector . I am looking to do around a 5 inch rise. I looked into the apex mtx riser and cables with the addition of a Rox 3.5" riser. The problem I ran into, was that Yamaha doesn't offer a choke cable extension. The thing is, is that I don't really want to re-locate the choke off my handlebars. What can I do?

PattyJack - what did you end up doing here? I know this was a while back, but I am in the same predicament and upon a quick Google search I do not see an extension nor do I really see any Vector Mountain cables available for sale. I appreciate it if you could rack your memory. Thanks!

05 rx mountain cable might work. had lots of slack when I put 4" riser on my 05 rx war.
