fastest sled there was the simons cpr race turbo owned by jack henricks... it is a stock bodied rx-1 weighing 580 lbs and running a 1/2 inch camoplast track, we ran 149.6 mph and backed it up with 149.6 mph, the second fastest sled there also ran 149.6 mph, and tied it up, it was a lay down proline full mod chassic with a big 4 cylinder polaris engine on spray, it was running a speed belt and weighed 460 lbs. when it came time to back it up it ran 133 mph and hurt the engine. it is the closest time anyone has ever came to running with us, the guys from straight line did a great job and definatly made us take notice, congratulations to their team. the third fastest sled was shannon dish on a full weight rx-1 warrior with a stock suspension and a 15 inch wide by 136 long 1/2 inch camoplast track. shannon was running a simons cpr stage 2 rx-1 race turbo and ran an amazing 145 mph, unbelieveable for a full weight sled. congratulations shannon your hard work is really showing some results.
now for the ice drag race action, matt quigley was the king once again, he was running a 1400 or 1500 cc engine on spray in a lightened chassic. he definatly has his #*$&@ together and is well versed in the 660 ft drag racing catagory, second place went to the simons cpr apex trail turbo owned by jack henricks, it was turned up to 12 lbs boost with straight race gas on a stock engine, in a stock chassic running a 1/2 inch camaplast track. lots of people have been doughting our horse power claims of this new apex kit.. here is more proof of its potential, (who says you cant race your trail seld, lol.) third place i think went to john??? he was running a 1400 cc t-cat on spray, i'm not sure of the details of his sled.
as for lake racing... the lake was shot. 20+ inches of loose snow. too much snow for anyone to really get a consisten lane and see who would have been king.
