I recently ripped out the rear suspension of my Nytro to replace the slides two broken limiter straps, 4 small idler wheels and took my shocks in for a rebuild. I am trying to make it handle better. I am 200 pounds and would like some advice on shock settings and limiter strap settings. Also replacing ski's, so any input on them would be helpful. 90% trail rider. THANKS!!!

A 2007 Nytro was basically a Vector with different rear suspension and different front shocks. I would lower The pressure in the front Air Shocks until the "A" arms are almost level. next suck your limiter strap up one hole tighter then stock. Keep your original ski's and put Aggressive Snow trackers carbides on them . Not sure what to do to the CK rear suspension some one else might have a good setup for the rear.

I would say have your shocks revalved while they are out for the rebuild, if it isn't too late.

Yep- get the rear shock at the least revalved. I run my front shock a little loose, limiter strap down one hole from stock.. I am 200 lbs as well and run my torsion springs at the medium setting. Get some marginal snow wheels to run about 6 inches in front of the rear wheels. I run about 75 psi in my floats. I don't remember what my transfer bars are set at. I do believe those are stock setting.

Thanks guys. Hygear is doing the suspension. They also suggested putting something they have to make the torsion springs work more fluid to.

I believe this is what they are referring to.
It's a cheap fix for a soft suspension . I think it increases the preload of the spring

Got rid of mine last year wish I still had it. On mine I had the shocks revalved and ran a stiffer spring on center shock also ran torsion springs on medium setting ran the fronts between 65 and 75 psi adjusted to trail conditions also ran the thicker sway bar that pioneer performance offered also pulled limiter down one hole used stock skis with bergstrom triple points the skis worked good on trail where I mostly rode it didn't get off trail much skis would sink.used excel idler wheels that are little bigger to get better hyfax wear and switched rear idlers to a wheel with removable bearings for maintenance. I weigh around 200 lbs and this worked good for me.

The 13mm Sway Bar is an excellent Idea. I would contact Travis at www.barnofparts.com and see if he might have a used one.
