Darren,

I'm stretching a RTX for a customer and using the 1.375 Sno Pro track, I had that track on my F7 and its the best track I have ever rode, great pull and very durable. I am going to run a Cobra this year on the XTX because I got a smoking deal from a take off TZ1.

You cant get two of them can you? what smoking?

Well, I would have to see. I have some people working with D&D and Glen Hall making turbo parts for the TZ1, the problem is most are running 128 sleds but it just so happend that the one was a 144 and they went to a speed track. 0 miles 300.00.....I think I did well!

I'm watching this thread closely as well, I'm going to a 136 track, does anyone have any info or pics of this 1.375 Sno Pro track? I'm also wondering how much the 1.375" is going to effect Hyfax wear. I run extroverts as well and seem to keep coming back to the Ripsaw 1.25 fully clipped, studded..

All info is appreciated..

I can't see the jump from 1.25 to 1.375 effecting hyfax at all. Switching to 135mm wheels will fix your hyfax problem. Running a fully clipped track also helps with hyfax imo.

Well i just purchased the track. The camoplast sno pro one. $480 shipped to my door. not to shabby. When i get my sled i will put it on and post some pics

The sno pro track is a Camoplast track, they just don't have a neat name for it like "cobra" or "predator"

If you are not going to run studs, you might as well look for the tallest toughest lug you can get that will last. Cause you are obviously going to be doing a lot of spinning.

I'll pm you a link to the track so you can have a look.

I looked on the Camo web site and I can't find the Sno Pro track. I looked in all the categories. Any help where to find it?

Thx!

Mike

yeah ebay is the only place I can find it.

Or you can get it in a 136" on tracks usa under miscellaneous stuff.

You might be able to order one at an arctic cat dealership, but it'll probably cost $600+

Thx!!!!!!!

Is it the one labelled this: 136 x 15 x 1.375 New Arctic Cat SnoCross - $425?????

Sno Pro and Sno Cross same track ya think?

Great help guys!

Mike

yes, I THINK they are the same track, but I've never seen the 136 track that tracksusa calls a sno cross track.

But if its a Cat track with 1.375" lugs chances are its the same. If you called them up they could probably tell you more about it. I've talked to them before and they're pretty smart and friendly.

Well mapquest says I'm two hours from duluth, 97 miles, but it doesn't take that long. I live right on highway 35, so its a straight shot.

I put about a thousand miles on around here a year, and shoot for a thousand more up near Mercer, WI each year too where my buddy has a cabin.

Only rode in MN once, and that was last year, up in the northern half of the state, did a 700 mile backpack trip in about 3 days. Awesome trails, I think it was the "taconite" trail or something like that? That trails amazing, can't wait to try it on my new sled.

I have the cobra on my xtx and the arctic sno-pro track on my 136 srx. I would have put the sno-pro track on my xtx if they had it in a 144. I really like both tracks. The lugs on the cobra are softer than the sno-pro which makes the acrtic track tougher. I feel the cobra has a higher topspeed since the asnpro took quite a bit off my srx and it just feels windy inside the tunnel. The cobra seems better on hi-fax. I feel both tracks are the right tracks for the each sled, I wouldn't switch. If I were going to go with a shorter track I would opt for the arctic. It basically is a trail-able snowcross track. If I was going for a longer track on an on/off trail sled I would go with the cobra because you wouldn't sacrifice as much up top and it already has a longer track for off trail situations.
