Just wondering how much if any snow is on the ground in southern central Wood county and Northern central Juneau county.

My in-laws have a place just south of Nekoosa on the trail. Wondering what things may be like after this snowfall comes through this Saturday. If there are already a couple inches on the ground now there may be 8-10 inches of snow cover after saturdays snow comes through.

Thanks

My in-laws place is right by #51 on the map

There is about 2 inches on the ground in Stevens Point. Gotta go further North. I'm going to Watersmeet. I talked to a lady who gave me the best conditions report ever, with Sat. nights snow it will be good!

Maybe seven inches fell last night and today in Rome on top of what was already on the ground. Looks like it could keep snowing lightly for a while but now it is just blowing around a lot. There is plenty of snow, I can only say from doing a little ditch riding because the trails don't open until monday, but they should be good when they do open.

Do you know for sure if Wood Co. opens theirs trails on Monday? I saw on travelWisconsin.com Juneau may not open till the 18th. WTF

I want to go ride midweek on Wed through Saturday morning in Wood.

In Monroe County we have got somewhere from 12 to 20 + - inches from the last weekend storm on top of what we already had. So plenty to get the season started, huge drifts everywhere. They are out packing the trails as we speak and they will open them this weekend, I think? That is the word on the street. I guess there is still some open water issues or something. But it looks like everything around this area should be open this weekend, but I would check first. And there is more then enough to ride, but the open fields are going to be slim because of all the blowing. Hope that helps out :drink:

Richland County conditions

Richland County opened some of the trails today at noon here are the ones that are open:

Lone Rock to Boaz
Richland Center to Muscoda
Richland Center to Bear Valley (Club Trail)
Richland Center to Dayton Hills (Club Trail)

Still Closed because of Cattle/and haven't been check for trees being down.

Boaz to Blue River
Boaz to Vernon county line

Boaz to Crawford County line has been gone thru but not official open
Richland Center to Hub City/Cazenvoia has been gone thru but not official open

Here are some of the conditions that we have been faced with to try and get these trails open.

Trees down from the ice and snow from the last storm
Snow drifts so deep the track groomers can't hardly get thru.
