I can't find the wire that you connect to the reverse lever for the backup beeper. The beeper is installed but I can't find the wire that connects to the reverse lever. This is on an apex.

I just looked at my Attak today, should be the same as the Apex. I think the button/sensor to trigger the back-up beeper is on a metal bracket right behind where the reverse lever goes into the engine compartment. It is a small black plastic box (about 1/2" X 1/2") with a rubber push button that the reverse lever pushes in when you slide it to the left to engage reverse. I know there are wires coming off of it, just not sure of the colors. This is probably what you are looking for. Hopefully this info was helpful....lol.

The button is mounted on the bracket, but it sounds like the wire comes off of the bundle of wires behind the aluminum frame that supports the lever. I guess I will have to do a little more digging to find it.

That black button is the only electronic piece associated with reverse (that I can see). Everything else is mechanical. The button has 2 wires, pink and black. The black should be a constant ground and the pink is the switch, meaning when you engage the reverse, pushing the black button, the pink wire goes to ground activating the beeper. You can access the pink wire pretty easily above the chaincase but I am sure you try to trace it (it goes towards the center of the sled after the button) and catch it somewhere else.
