Still running just 10 lbs of boost on the SC Nytro. I lined up with a turbo'ed RX this week for a race on a hard packed trail. I could not get traction to save my life. Even at roughly half throttle take offs all I would do is just spin. I couldn't beleive I was able to dig a hole on the hard trail. We even tried a 20 mph rolling start with similar results. I have the torsion springs on High, front shock on Med, and moved the transfer rods to full transfer, but still no traction. I am even running a 162 camo extreme. I don't think I am getting enough transfer, but the rods have no more to give.
Any thoughts?

Try the torsion springs on low or mid. The reason you are spinning is the skid won't squat enough with the springs working against it.

Try gearing up if you haven't aleday adjusted your suspension.

The rear suspension is so soft (bottoms easily) I have been afraid to turn down the torsion springs. I have thought about gearing up..... have been wondering if it would increase track speed while climbing or just bog it down. Still running stock 20/40 gears.

Ray, Maybe you need more lead in the
. Mine digs up the trail also but it does launch hard enough that It will carry the skis. I did find it necissary to tighten the track up to prevent ratcheting with the extros. I have been running banjo string tight since the first trip @ 10 lbs boost.
Also my skid is still my modded '03 Pro-Action. It doesn't have near the transfer as the newer skids even after my mods (maybe it's the straight rails on mine that makes the difference).
Edit; have you got that Nytro tuned yet?
