Supertuner,

What do you think of the idea of including allen head screws for the carb float bowls as part of your kit? I changed these screws on every carb I own to get rid of those soft piece of S%$#@ philips head screws. I replaced most of the hardware on the carbs and racks with stainless steel allen head screws. Makes servicing much easier. I'm sure customers would be willing to spend a couple of dollars more to head off a problem. Just an idea.

This was the first thing I did when I yanked them off. I HATE thos POS phillips screws they use. Went to Ace and got the stainless allen head. Had to have the wife hold the rack (she was thrilled) just to break 3 of them loose. One was getting pretty scary, but I got em!

If you don't include them maybe at least tell people to run to the hardware store and pick up 12 m4 70's

I strongly reccommend getting rid of those POS screws on the Japanese carbs. I've changed them on every carb I own (24 carbs) and on every carb I work on for friends. Before you perform any service on the carbs (a cleaning, installation of the ECP kit, jetting, etc.)plan ahead and get 16 of the metric screws for the carb float bowls. If anyone gets stuck, i.e. can't buy these screws, send me your address and I'll send you 16 screws, I have a few extra sets of the metric allen head screws.
