I am coming off an SRX to an Apex and want to optimize the handling of the sled. What are the best performing carbides and how many inches is too much. I was runnign 10 on the SRX and that cornered like a dream. We ride very fast and hard so control is critical

Bergstrom triple points with ski savers & shims. Length depends on studding. Bergstrom & proper set up becomes point & shoot sled.

Wouldnt that be sweet , an Apex that handled like a Viper !!
Good luck , that would be the best of both worlds but i dont think its possible . I had a Viper S that would handle wicked , almost toss me off the sled in corners while staying perfectly flat . In my opinion the Apex is physically incapable of handling like that , the geometry of the sled just doesnt allow it . Too much weight on the skis , once you take away enough to make it stop darting all over you lose the ski pressure you need to keep it from washing through the corners . Best you can do is make it go straight and enjoy an endless handfull of torque !
But like i said good luck , maybe youll stumble across the fix that the rest of us have been looking for .
Oh and dont forget if you do , to post it here so we can try it !
