when changing belt should i use alcohol or sand paper to clean clutch wheels ?thanx

dry WHITE schotchbrite - make sure you only use the white kind.

Been using the green scotchbrite pads for 12 years.

green is alot rougher the white will not scratch up

Use a green Scotchbrite pad with hot soapy water. Then follow up by wiping the sheaves down with a rag soaked with acetone.

can also use cotact cleaner or brake cleaner if you have rubber residue
