TY 4 Stroke Junkie
I have noticed a lot of new names on this forum so it looks like there are many new members who have bought used RX-1's. Since I was changing the hyfax on my rear suspension today, I thought it might be useful to mention that when you take the philips head screw out of the rail to remove the hyfax, be sure to use a #3 philips screwdriver. A #2 screwdriver will fit but loosely. These screws are pretty soft and using a #2 philips will strip it out. For stubborn screws, I use a #3 philips screwdriver with a visegrip on the screwdriver shaft to give more leverage. I have a 5 mm tap that I use to clean out the old loctite. I locktite the screw back in using Hondalock 1 which has a lower strength than the blue loctite.

I made that mistake on my Warrior for the first hyfax change. The screw got damaged but not to the point of total loss. I used an impact screwdriver with one of those chisel-like bits. One good whack and it came loose. I've never re-applied loc-tite and never had any issue with them coming loose, just makes them easier to change later.
