wondering if someone can help me out, I am going to the mountains and would like to get my clutching correct, I have an 06 Attak and is stock, so what weights should I put in or take out to get half decent clutching, I only plan on going once a year, this year will be to Valmount,B.C
Any help would be appreciated ;)!

Why not just put the rivets from the apex mtn spec, that would put you fairly close.

Thanks for the input, but to do gearing is not something I want to get involved with, 99% of my riding is at 0-3000ft, and going to mountains is a once a year trip, I did get some weights, outer and middle holes at 4.5grams and inner at 2grams(I Think), this seems alot, but I don't have the stock numbers so I can't compare, The local dealership give me these weights saying they are for high altitude, but he also questioned it saying it doesn't seem right.
So I am hoping that some of the members here can give me some input from their past or previous experience,
I know with the present set-up It would be like hauling around another 150lb behind me,
So it would be nice to get my hands on a set-up for 6-9000ft, should I also consider tightening up my secondary t help get my revs up?
THANKS fer da help! ;)!

clutch spring

I have an 07 Apex ER and after the first trip I didn't like the way the clutch engaged because when you go to move the sled a couple of feet or so it jumped too fast, like at the gas pumps for example, so I had my dealer change the setup so it engages sofetr like my ols 600 2 stroke machines did and it is much better. I didn't get a chance to see how it works at high speed on the last trip but I am hopeful it won't suffer.
