has anyone tried putting the new stator from 11 and up into a 10 or older yamaha apex? The part number for a 11 and up is 8HG-81410-00-00 and the 10 or older is
8FP-81410-02-00 just wonder if it will fit?

Since the 11+ had EPS, I suspect the stator difference could be due to that. Now, whether or not that would be an issue running in a 10 or older, I'm not sure. I know when I replaced the stator in my 08, I went OEM and have not had any issues in the approximately 8,000 miles since replacing it.
