When I turn the handle bars on my sled the engine revs up with out me pressing the throttle. I then see an error code 84 and it flashs. I know this is for the tors sensor, but how do I fix it? Is there an adjustment I can do on the throttle cable?
I believe code 84 is the TORS is activating which is the throttle override switch you can dissable it by unplugging them.

The TORS is there as a safety device. I wouldn't unhook it because you have a problem with your cable. Just think if it was disabled and you were turning the bars while in reverse, not good. Fix the problem and the tors probably won't come on. If it become a hassle for no reason at all you might want to consider unhooking the TORS. Just my opinion.

check all you wires from the handle bars i had the same problem and when i turned left it would raise the throttle and then the tors would act up i later found out after a little looking around the it was pulling the throttle cable.

Had this happen with me and also found that it was pulling on my throttle cable.my cable was placed over my handlebar pad so i just moved it under and zip tied it to the steering colum so that it wouldn't move. problem solved!

same problem here. happened when i installed rox riser. i finally got it to stop but it would still happen intermittantly. you can re route the cable, there is some adjustment of the cable at motor bracket also. to be safe i just bought the cable for the "mountain" apex. it is a few inches longer. never had a problem again. my bars are adjustable for hieght,i did not want code 84 re occurring if i changed bars height on the trail.
