I have an 06 RTX, the ride is decent, I have it set up for all around riding, but when the trail gets very rough this thing just isn't cutting it. I am thinking of getting the ZX2 composite skid this summer, but I was hoping to get some feedback from some that might have installed this skid already into a sled that had the mono skid.
Thanks

RXwhopper, Do you have any idea how much of a weight savings this is??
I know on their site it claims this skid only weighs 53 lbs, it has to be close to 20 lighter than the stock skid.
Thanks

Yep, I’ve been running this skid for over 500 miles now in the 136 form. All I can say is this is the first skid I’ve ever had that can take everything I dish out to it. I can fly warp speed into 3-4’ holes or bumps and smile away. The only small downfall is it does raise the sled up and effects a bit or corner handling, but well worth the compromise IMO.
I’ll report at the end of the season for any durability issues.
So far very happy!
