Left the back of the sled 2-3 feet and remove the bleed bolt in the cross over tube in the back of the tunnel, remove the cap and fill till it comes out the bleed hole. Then lower the back of the sled and left the front of the 2-3 feet with the cap off and fill till full. I the roll then sled to both sides. Now start it and let it warm up all air should be gone check the running broad coolers to see if they are getting hot.

When you lower the rear do you put the bleed bolt back in before lowering? Also I'm assuming you want the running board coolers to get hot to know if they are working properly?

Crap, I used to take out the bleeder bolt, start the sled then keep filling the tank as it dropped! You mean to say I have been doing this wrong all along? lol!

Not saying it is the right way, but I never removed my bleeder bolt when I added my rear heat exchanger as it was difficult to get at.
I did however raise the front of the sled up and added as much coolant as I could to the sled. Fired it up, let it warm up and then added coolant as required.
I did have to add a bit after I took it for a ride but I still had coolant in the bottle so I know the majority of the system was full.
Keep in mind, my sled is a Vector and I have no Radiator, just a reserve/overflow bottle.

That makes sense, it shouldn't make any difference if you bleed it from the front or back as long as the end you bleed from is the highest point.Irv said:Not saying it is the right way, but I never removed my bleeder bolt when I added my rear heat exchanger as it was difficult to get at.

That was my thinking.
