How do you remove the coolant cross tube on a Attack/Apex? I lifted the back of sled, unhooked the hoses. It looks like that was put in the sled first. The tunnel protectors are over the tube, but I'm not sure if would slide out if they were loose. Suggestions.
Post #2 shows a pic of what you need to cut out to remove the cross tube.

I used a roto zip with metal cutter to slice a lines in the tunnel to allow me to put a rear heat exchanger in. Worked amazing and just folded the tunnel section back in place, would never know the difference! Don't forget to put the rubber protectors under the tubes where it passes through tunnel to prevent broken pipes!
