Got a quick question. I've noticed that some guys are running CR10EK plugs. I've gotta run to town today and pick up new plugs for my '06 Nytro and was wondering if there is any performance differance in running the 10s as compared to the CR8E that are stock. Didn't want to spend the $9 per plug if there wasn't a big change. Thanks fellas.

Not much..if you have other things on it then every little bit helps but if you are all stock I would put the stock plugs back in...you will get 2 hps with the 10s ..you won't even feel that

I might not be the brightest bulb on the strand, but how can those spark plugs produce more horsepower?

Some people are claiming 1hp increase. Personally I tried those plugs and my sled didn't run on them very good at all. I went back to stock immediately.
I find they work better than stock on both my rx1 to hard to tell if they are making extra HP but its been reported with dyno that they do. I find my plugs dont foul as easy with them.

I have read on here that running them will also contribute to a harder starting sled, especially in the real cold weather?
Any truth to that?
never noticed anything different on that front in fact they are maybe better less fouling due to two electrodes. I would not hesitate to run them.
