Tipped 144 1.25 ripsaw more of a ruff trail sled & too heavy to do well in powder so X2 above would help somewhat but will not have a dramatic change. If you want more powpow riding new Nytro XTX with 1.75 track would do much better in deep stuff. My 2007 Attak sinks like a rock so never ever 1st sled thru 2 feet of powder or big stuck & trench.

ill add this, do a skid setback to make it a 144 and lower the approach angle

A cheap and very good modification for offtrail use is to modify your tunnel extension, I have done it to mine and it´s a huge improvement.

I changed my skis to slp PP and is very happy with the powder performance.
Shorten your limiterstrap or couple it harder, and let your front springs almost hang loose.
Then add a 2" challenger and you can explore some pretty deep snow.
I have a backcountry 1.75 and its a good allround track, but the hard lugs makes the sled trench a bit and the lugs get easily damaged.

A lot of interesting feed back seems like most agree that skis and track upgrade maybe tunnel mod will be best place to start thanks for all feedback long offseason to figure it out thanks to lack of snow.
