What's the performance difference between the dalton R helixs and regular helixs. According to their website, the R's have a quick initial angle, then act pretty much as a straight angle helix. How does this affect performance? What are the pros and cons of each?

Thanks.

This is not a progressive helix. It is 2 angles. For example, a 54r46 starts with a 54 angle initially and switches to a 46 angle about a third of the way into the shift out. A progressive will start at the higher angle and gradually go through the degress as it shifts to the final degree.

helx

i am running those helxs they work super with the steep angle at the start it laods the moter to take advantage of he torqe curve i.e a better hole shot with better hook up this is another old racers trick right out of the an old race race manual. note that the steeper the angle i ran the better it worked. i even switched to a green secondery spring to make it shift harder. i had to do some thing ti out pull my strong running mach z buddys and it worked it gave me about 3 lenths out of the hole with the stk track 8)
