Do the 2010 & 2011 Nytro XTX come with extrovert drive s

For me, with extrovert drivers and fully clipped running the track loose allowed it to slap the rails at the upturn, which led to very rapid wear on two sets of hyfax last winter. When I installed the third set I tightened the track to the low side of the spec and saw greatly reduced and more consistent wear along the length of the rail.

From a mechanical standpoint there is very little contribution to the contact forces between the track and hyfax due to the level of tension in the system. To prove this to yourself, put your finger between the track and hyfax and then drive up the tension. Unless the sled falls while you're doing this, the force you'll feel will be less than 8% of the tension in the track. I can see where a loose track might move around the drivers and rear axle wheels easier but this benefit isn't offset by the increased hyfax wear in my book.

I also put 6 larger wheels on my 136 Nytro. I had just over 900 mi on slides when I put it away. I pulled skid last week and can barely see any wear and that was on very bad snow conditions. Guys that are posting that they wear to a point and stay there, I never had this. They would go down to rails in a about 2-300 miles never stopped at line!
Thank god for doo wheels and skis! Lol! ;):D
