Do we care they killed the Nytro?

I should weigh my two and see. Problem is one has a turbo and other does not. The nytro has a earthx battery and viper does not.

That's an impressive difference but not surprising.

Skid alone on a 153: Pro Mtn Air MTX: 68 lbs, Pro Climb 45 lbs so there is 23 lbs of that difference.

Gotta weigh my XM just to see how much difference there really is.

Of course....no need to weigh a Poo cause they don't weigh anything at all right....LOL

I could definitely say mine rips also. I do have a slight issue that feels like the clutch is slipping and bogs out a bit when hitting the throttle. No idea where that comes from. I put a brand new belt on and I get the same thing. This only happens intermittently, but I am miffed about it.

According to this guy that weighs the Viper XTX stretched 162 its nearly 560Lbs. Scale says 558Lbs with a gallon of fuel, plus Zbro arms installed, not stock.
The one weighing 544Lbs is a stock XTX shorter track sled.
I reread the post and imo these weights are not legit to the factory MTX.

Subtract 8 lbs for the straps holding the sled. Zbros arms won't be that much different. The 38" cat arms are pretty thin.

I would think it is a good representation. Considering that the new mtx will have the lighter weights fasteners like the M series and less bogies.

The Nytro is a fine machine but it has a daily mileage limit which should not be exceeded. We have one rider who exceeded that (by more than double) - but he also claimed it cracked one of his teeth. Other reported side effects include: hearing damage, internal concussive injuries and pissing blood.

Tell your buddy that when in the mountains you are supposed to ride on the snow and not on the rocks! LOL

Makes for a much more pleasant experience!
