it seems to me that everyone has worked thier rx1 either a little or a lot. one of my main reasons for buying this sled was the fact that i didnt have to mod it. now after hearing alot of guys talk about the ecp kit and so forth, i'm tempted to do that. if i didnt want to do the ecp kit what else can i do for the clutch, thats cheap and will give me more mid range and a little top end, also tell me where i can get it..................thanks :rocks:

I run mine completely stock and am quite happy with it . Unless you are going to race it all the time i find that the junk sold is just a wast of cash .

i'm not gonna race it all the time , in fact 95% of my riding is in the trails, however i would like to compensate for my size, ...off the line is fine i did notice the mid range isn't as good as it could be.

Unless you have a Need for speed attitude you dont really need all the stuff we buy... I think the sled is great engine wise.... But the skis do suck!!

Clutching is the best bang for buck investment and easiest to install..

If you are just looking for clutching then I would strongly sugest contacting Matt at the speedshop. He goes by Bluebyyou2000 on here. I purchased the stage 2 kit from him last year and was very impressed. You will not be dissapointed. This year I have purchased the ECP kit and the clutch upgrade and I'm looking so forward to it. I have had some very fast sleds and always messed with them. SOme had realiability issues after but was squeezing everything out of them. But with this just some minor stuff and I'm very happy. ;)! :4STroke:

This has been talked about before. I can understand the desire to get the extra performance, (however small it may be) from the aftermarket stuff. However you are simply pouring cash into a hole, because my experience is that you get nowhere near the value for this stuff when you sell you sled.

My rx1-er is stock & is going to stay stock. The main reason I've bought mostly Yamaha machines is for reliability. They take me out & bring me home. This machine is capable of speeds far beyond what I can handle on trails.(safely)And when there is an oportunity to open up on a lake or --What's wrong with 100 miles an hour?? 8) 8) :yam: :4STroke: :ORC

welterracer..................where did you get the xenon lights , are they bulbs or actual xenons?

They are XENON bulbs i bought off of ebay... they can be purchased at any car parts store... ... PN# H4 55/60

Snowmobiles are a HOLE in which you throw all your money... if your counting the money than im sure you will hate sledding in the end..

DONT COUNT THE MONEY.. do what makes you happy... that is all that counts..

My Warrior is mostly stock. I trade every year or two so upgrades aren't worth it for me. If you do anything I do some clutching otherwise leave it alone.
