Has anyone replaced the bearing on the left side of drive axle yet? I always changed mine on my Apex every other year, easy on Apex, not sure on Viper.Might last longer on Viper, looks like less chance of water entering but I would feel better with a new bearing .

I changed mine when I rebuilt my chain case. I removed the seal and cleaned and greased it after 3200miles. At 5700 miles the bearing was still good but it was out so I replaced it.

Still china bearings. On a side note my friend talked to Scott Taylor of Taylor engineering and he claimed the bearings are not the problem in these (pre 2015) chain cases but the quality, hardness and fitment of the shafts and gears.

My last arctic cat sled had jack shaft bearing issues China bearing just don't seem to last.
