Rode into Pats last Thursday on my 07 Apex GT with 5500 miles. Pat recommended replacing speedo/driveshaft bearing, stating that failures after 5000 miles are somewhat common. Ok, bought the bearing, and did the install today. $42 well spent....my old bearing was toast..glad I took Pats advise.....

You have to pop the seals and grease them at least once per season or after every 2000 miles. Use a good low temp synthetic grease.
