i'm looking to put some dually carbides on my nytro and would like to know if i should get the 6 inch ones or the 9 inch ones. also i would like to know if the slim jims or the stud boy deuce bars works better.
thanks

I talked to a dealer at haydays who sold both woody's and stud boys. He swore that stud boys were a better carbide and I was under the assumption that woody's were. He said he would certainly buy the stud boy deuce bar before a set of slim jims and not to mention they were about $50 cheaper. Just my two cents.

He also said that 4 in. would work just fine and 6 in. would be plenty. I am running 96 studs if that makes a difference at all. So to sum up the story...I bout a set of 6 in stud boy deuce bars.

I went with 6" Deuce and I must say, adding the dually runners has been one of the single best investments I could possibly make on this machine... just ahead of the insulated gauntlets I added to the handlebars. :D

just wondering if there is any difference ( push in corners, steering effort) between the 6 inch and the 9 inch when trail riding fairly hard.

I think I'm pretty darn strong and I can tell ya (compared to other sleds I've owned) this Nytro is a beast to turn the bars on comparatively.

I ride fairly aggressive but not sno-cross style and I find the 6" dual runners bite in just fine. Definitely no push in the corners. In fact, sometimes I wished it did a little bit!

I'm thinking if I had gone with 9 inchers, my arms would be killing me after a long day on the trails.

I am definatly going to run the 6 inch ones then because right now it has 9 inch cobra head carbides (came with sled) and they just about rip your arms off it is so hard to turn
