[MT RX1 Mountain Man]

Before anyone goes busting my chops over this let me say that I have read some of the other posts in the past, haven't bought one nor do I expect one to add 25 hp to my Apex. Has anyone out there actually bought one of these? I saw at least 4 different ones on eBay that claim they will work on EFI motor and are specifically tuned for each application. I guess what I am getting at is they have had them all listed for some time and eBay ain't free somebody must have bought one....

I would have to say that if anyone has bought one I doubt that they are on TY, as most of us on here are well educated enough to know that these are not going to do what they claim. They could also be too embarrassed to admit they tried one!

if is what I'm used to seeing on ebay, All it is, is a resistor that fools the ecu into thinking its colder outside and dumps a tad more fuel.. I'm pretty sure it's for the iat input??????????????

I was curious as to how they would work. It's too bad it wasn't that easy to gain another 20 horses for $20. It just seems like they have had them listed on there for a long time and that somebody somewhere must have taken a stab at one. Anytime I see something with cheap NAPA wire taps it makes me wonder......

I have Ulmer's Air box, PC111 and a timing key and only gained about 10HP and a lot of throttle response. Even it they were controlling timing and fuel with the chip they can not add air with it so a couple hp at best if any at all. kviper
