This sounds like a scam, anyone recognize the pics of the sled in the auction? Had a Buy It Now price of $2500 and wants bidders to contact him via email, not through eBay!

More than likely a stolen identity and SCAM auction. These idiots never stop trying.
$2500 and $3500 seem to be common Buy it Now prices for these scammers. One would think that they would try to make the auction seem a bit more realistic, and list their location as somewhere other than Tennessee.

This will be the second time I purchased the exact same sled.

I have had more problems on ebay lately, I don't even like signing on at all anymore! My identity has been stolen, my ad for my old ZRT was cancelled early by seller!!!??? I wasn't even home when that happened. My password has been changed on me twice, and my accound has been lockced up at least 3 times by ebay for fraudulent activity! I don't even use it that much, and haven't bought anything from there in years & my feedback score is only 8!!! I don't even have my paypal account, and I can't figure out what the hell anybody would want by messing with me on there! I am so pissed when I talk about ebay. For the longest time, I never had any problems, but within the last 2-3 months, I have been hacked and screwed multiple times, an didn't even get a kiss first! Ebay is losing alot of respect here...
I've seen that auction before, and one time it will be from Texas, the next Arizona, and the next.... Don't even try to contact them! That is how I got hacked! It's always the same auction, word for word.

Those who don't use their accounts often are the most likely to be messed with. Look at the user info when you see these scam auctions, they've been members for years and have a feedback score of 20 or less, 100% positive.
As they say, use it or lose it.

I just don't buy or sell much there. Most of the stuff I would buy on ebay, I can find around here for just about the same money. I don't sell very often unless it's a vehicle.

I stopped dealing on ebay for the same reasons, too many scammers, and their software is too easily hacked. The way I see it, if someone can hack Direc TV, a billion dollar operation, they can certainly hack into ebay.

I think you’ll find ebay it’s self to be fairly safe. It’s folks that hack into your computer and your identities that gives them access in ebay. You have to be careful and don’t plan on finding any $10,000 sleds for $2500.
I bought my sled on eBay.
