EFI Kit for '05 RS Venture

Anyone know of an EFI kit that is available for my 3cyl. RS Venture engine?

i dont know about the EFI but was woundering if you had the wheel problem on your sled and what your fix was.

I had excessive hyfax wear resulting in loud track noise.
Replaced hyfax.
Replaced stock wheels with 5mm oversized rubberized wheels.

No/little hyfax wear
No/Little track noise.

did you replace all the stock wheels or just the bogey wheels in the center of the suspension if you have the part # name brand that would be great

Replaced all of the wheels in the center(6?). No part number as they were made up by my dealer. Some aluminum spacer machining required for these wheels as they have wider removeable bearings. The +5mm dia. seems to hold the track away from the hyfax better and reduces/eliminates the heavy wear.

Yamaha took their FJR 1300 motorcycle engine, took off the EFI and one cylinder and made the RS motor. No kits available that I have heard of and the motorcycle parts would be a big job to adapt, mainly because power pulses are 120 degrees on the 4 cyl and 180 deg for the 3 cyl. Plus you would need to come up with cold weather fuel mapping.

TORK, is right on, I've looked high AND low for an efi kit

Tork is quite knowledgable when it comes to these engines and is correct, know one makes an efi kit for this engine, know one!!! i've looked for months want to do the same with some other mods but it's simnply not available and a custom built kit is around 2200.00, I hope that someone will eventually come out with one, this is highly unlikely though since know one made one for the mighty RX-1.
