Good luck in the race.

We attended our first Soo I-500 race last year and had a great time. Just wish we could make it again this year.
Hopefully we can tap in to the feed from the race so I can watch it online.

Thats a different front end?

Keep us posted about any updates.Good luck.

Hope the guys at the Soo get temps to allow a little more ice than last year. Last year was just survival towards the last of the race. JMO

Kris's dad Roy had Belmont Engineering in Grand Rapids, MI. build these last year for the 2012 soo i-500. They already make them for the RX-1/Apex, he just had them exstend the upper mount on the spindle to mach the Nytro. Then he re vamped a set a Apex A-arm's and put heim joints on front and back for more adjustments. They work really good.

Thanks everyone for the support. Here is Kris and his back up driver Oaklee.

Been watching you guys for quite a few years. Can you give us an update on current rules and how they affect Yamaha sleds? After the few good years for Yamaha Apex, it almost seemed like none of the Yamaha sleds met the requirements. Last race I recall Yamaha was almost a non-participant.

Well we go by the ISR rule book for enduro racing. They did ban the Apex/RX-1 do to the tork they had, it was quite fun to watch them blow by them light 2 strokes when the track got tore up. The Soo I-500 has the most Yamaha's that race, 4 last year, 2 FX Nytro's, 1 FX Nytro motor in a RX-1 chassi, and a 600srx. This year that i know of,is our FX Nytro, a 973 vector, a VectorGT, proublly Gentz's RX-1 with Vector motor, Maybe Erdmans FX Nytro, hopefully more yamaha's show up, u just never know at the Soo who will show up. Last year there was a Ski-doo 1200 that ran the race, he wasan't fast but did finish the race. You also can run the turbo Cat's to but know one has run one yet, maybe this year one wll show up. take the heat off Yamaha lol let the other racers complan about that. I'll see if i can find some rules, the Soo's rules are a little differant than MIRA's rules, just a few things are differant, I think Ski-doo can still run the 3cyl. 600 motors, now in MIRA you can't.
