To everyone. Just bought my sled from Engelharts. I just wanted to tell everyone that their staff was very easy to work with and quite knowledgeable. They gave me a good deal on the left over sled and helped out on the parts/accessories I ordered with the sled. If anyone in the area is looking for a good dealer I would suggest them. They are even a site sponsor! Thanks again to Shawn in the sales staff and eveyone else that works there. I had a long ways to drive to pick up the sled and they had everything in line and was in and out of the dealership in about a half hour.

They are huge in the mountain scene for a dealership in the Midwest which I like but I just have not been happy with them over the last two years I have lived in the Madison area. Maybe its just the people I have talked to but I have to explain that snowmobiles have skis every time I try to order parts or that 2 cycle oil is really different then 4 stroke oil. I have been charge 10-20% more then retail on parts which I understand over the season manufactures rise prices on some parts because of whatever reason but then I go to another dealer and they say I got over charged. I guess I just need a higher paying job to shop there. Sorry for the rant, just my .02.

If you ever need parts and decide to give them another shot talk to Jeff Hensen in parts, he is the man, knows his sh!t and will take care of you. I have heard horror stories about them but I know that they have some pretty good guys working there now.

Thanks will give him a shot. I have a few other buddies that have given up on that shop last winter, will tell them to talk to Jeff in parts next time.

Tried to buy a new sled from them last year but the lowest they would go on it was $1150 (without tax, setup fees, create fee, etc) higher then what I paid for it at another dealer. Glad sledneck got a good deal from them, will add them back to the list for checking prices on my next sled.

In the Madison, WI area, I would highly recommend Johnson Sales in Arlington, just north of Madison. Sales, service and parts - I haven't been disappointed yet. And they are a dealer dedicated to Yamaha. They have a great selection of parts, accessories and clothing on hand. By far the best all around Yamaha dealer I have encountered.

I remember being asked by a parts person once: "Who makes the Grizzly again?" when I went to purchase a spark plug for one. This was at a well-known large multi-line dealer in the southwestern part of the state of WI who shall remain nameless...and yes, the Grizzly had been purchased there.
