Just wondering what I'm in for , just noticed oil leak behind the drive clutch how much work to change seal?does motor have to come out? is this common?

Its not too bad. Pull the clutch off and then take the gear reduction cover off. Replace the seal and the gear reduction cover gasket. The seal is a double lip seal from Yamaha. I know that some guys have crossed it over to a seal from an auto parts store.

you also might want to set the valves on it as buddah was having a similar problem with his 03 rx.
