This weekend my ride was cut short. I was riding along on my 07 Attak and all of a sudden it sputtered to a stop. I went to restart and it was if the battery was dead. A code came up on the display 46 along with the engine light and warning light and engine icon flashing. I was able to connect another sled's battery to my battery and get it started. It ran for a couple of minutes and died again. I am guessing the battery isn't recharging. I then connected to a battery on one of the sleds in our group, let that sled run for about 10 minutes to put more of a charge in my battery and was able to limp it about 10 miles to a pick up point. It's going in today but curious if anyone else has scene this code or had a similar experience. I couldn't find any details on the code. I am assuming something with the charging system. The battery is less than 1 year old and stays on a tender between rides...

Yup, same here.
If you search it out, myself and two other ppl have had this happen. Mine was the stator.
Things to check are the clips at the voltage regulator, etc....

Bummer. I was hoping it wasn't the stator. I checked all of the connections at the VR and batter, nothing loose. I can charge the battery up and while it has a full charge the error code goes away, as soon as it starts to drain down the code comes back so it's not recharging itself... Thank God for I bought the YES! I am guessing it just paid for itself!
