does anyone no if the excell exhaust for a xtx nytro will put it over the decibal limit, and if it does by how much?

I am not sure about the nytro, but I have been told that the apex/attak system should be under, I am going to buy a cheap db meter and check my excells on the attak and phazer, and the nytro xtx (it has an mbrp)....

As a bonus, Aaron is making quiet cores for the excell systems now, so it is capable of being quieter as well..... i will let you know this weekend about the other sleds...

anyone else have experience???

If you have any doubts, I would ask that you keep it stock please. You never know who's interpretation of "loud" will be the one to close a trail. We may even find ourselves looking for quieter exhausts someday as a preventive measure.

BTW: In answer to your question, we've had trails closed locally because of excessive noise AND speed.

I've gone through several checkpoints last year. To be honest most don't even give it a second look because it looks even more proffessional than stock and at idle it's not like it's that noticeable. If you really lay into it you definately can tell, but it's not loud and obnoxious.

excell

it has a good sound to it but it's definately louder than stock. We were up playing in my buddies field yesterday - my one friend is stock and my other buddy has the full excell kit. My one friend (stock) was sitting on his sled and commented that he couldn't hear his sled running with my other buddy parked about five feet away.

It is definately more quiet than the 4 cyl. I have on on my sled and I love the sound. And as I said it is more quiet than the 4 cly. models

sounds great, their is a poping sound I get when on and off throtle pretty anoying. They didn't have a fix last year, checking with ulmer for a fix...
