I finally worked my way down to getting the donuts out of the exhaust header on my '08 Nytro. It's got 4000 miles on it, and after reading that the Nytros experienced donut issues like the Apex's, I figured they'd be needing a change. When I got down to them, I found that they were fully intact and there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. Guess I thought I'd post it so people knew it wasn't a given that they'd be shot after so many miles. Needless to say I'm still replacing them after the effort required to get at them.

*originally posted the topic title as 3500 miles. I thought that seemed low after posting it, so I went and double checked the odo, and it was just a touch under 4000 (3994).

I wasnt so lucky, good thing for extended warranty
1300 miles on my sled and they we shot, bent, broken, cracked
5000 miles on dads Nytro, same thing except worse...one was missing, one broken and the other worn right down to almost nothing on one side (found out why the header sounded like it was falling off)

Changed mine on my 09fx at 2700,just starting the leak. While I had the exhaust off I had the pipe ceramic coated .Took out the tunnel protectors may help with the ice buildup. Also have a blockoff plate for the muffler from schmidt bros.
