I want to get some tip outs for my wife's Vector Mountain so that I can get her a rack and have her gear on it (instead of on her back). I read a post about some 1-5/8" tips from canadian tire but they don't have them anymore and the Vector Mt has 1-3/8" exhaust. Anyone know where I could get a couple of chrome tip outs???

I went to Midas and they custom built some exhaust tips for me to my specs and it only cost me $20.00 can. for four tips. The only thing is that they are in a stainless finish. (I painted my tips black anyway)

Did they do it with thick exhaust steel? I was sort of hoping to get some thinwall stuff.

You can get what ever type of steel you want, just ask to look at samples.

The 2" tips from can. tire with the flare cut off will do the job i think .This is what i used 3000km no problems yet.Trxster said:

Yeah, the problem I see is that I think the Vector Mt has a smaller exhaust outlet.....I don't have my stock rx muffler anymore but I measure the OD on the Vector Mt as about 1-3/8". I did call canadian tire and they told me that 2" was the smallest they have.
