Experience with the WRP Assault Seat kit?

I ordered the Hi Ryze seat kit from here

http://sledseats.com/catalog_detail_vie ... NYTHRZ1603

Very happy with the results. Much more comfortable, taller, ordered the all black seat so I think it looks better too. I recommend it.

I know there are a few guys on here that have it. Haven't heard anything negative about the kit. Much cheaper than buying a complete $500 seat

Awesome..... I'm certainly not married to the WRP seat, and would love to check out alternatives... Thanks

Not a bad price for what you get. A little elbow grease to save some $$ never hurts!

I have one season on mine and love it . I am 6' tall and like to stand alot so it makes the transition easy. The firmness I was not so sure that I would like but it is not bad at all .The quality is top notch after 1300 miles the seams and padding are still like new. I know it wasnt cheap but some times you get what you pay for. I give WRP two ;)! ;)!

I rode with the WRP seat last year for 2000miles and It is worth it.Im 6'1 and this seat with the OFT relocate and 4 inch riser was perfect for sit or stand riding.I know where a couple of these seats are locally if interested send me a PM for info.

Well, I dont advertize this but I do a custom seat rise, I use the Yamaha acc seat cover and add 2" of high density 3070 foam, then shape it to a nice flat top "Boss" style contour. I have over 2500 miles on my seat and its perfect and shows no wear on the foam. I can do one off seat covers as well but like the Yamaha cover as its very thick and durable with a non-slip top and looks 100% original. I source the cover for you and have a exchange program so there is no waiting for a seat. Here are some photos of the seat, I keep mine as flat as posable so when your riding hard and tucked up close to the tank your not sitting on a lump. Price is 399.00 + shipping. The Yamaha cover is 199.00 alone so I feel its a pretty good deal. This seat comes ready to bolt on. The wrinkles are from the cover being folded up in the box from Yamaha.

It's nice to see options...
Guess I'm looking for something different.
I think the sides of the seat don't go down far enough.
When I hang off the sled deep in corners my inner leg (#*$&@ cheeks) take a beating off the tunnel.
I'd like to find something like this... (pic of 99 mxz HO)
Anyone making options for pads down the sides?

I put on over 600miles on my WR seat last season and I can tell you it definately raises you up nicely. I am 6'2" and really like this raised seating position, especially coming off of a Sno Pro race sled...seating is now very similar. I will tell you though the set is very firm when you just sit on it in the garage, but never seemed to be a problem while actually riding it. Need to order the oft relocator and I should be in good shape. Good Luck!

I have both the WRP seat and OFT relocator. Love them both. The height is awsome and can go from sitting to standing with no effort (I am 5' 10"). The sit is a little firmer than I wish it was; after a 300 mile day my #*$&@ is a little sore.

I noticed that after usind the WRP seat for a while its started to "break in" and feel not as hard. or maybe i just got used to it. i was nervous at first as it was harder than i wanted but i love it now!!

Strongly recommended, noticeable taller and firmer than orginal without being uncomfortable. Making the transition from sitting to standing much easier. I use it together with oft relocator and 1" riser and I´m 6´ tall.
