I bought a used 144" expert x skid. How do I remove the shocks/springs? The bottom bolt is easy enough to figure out, but how does the top shaft come apart to remove the other end?

I believe you have to drop the whole shaft (unbolt it from the tunnel) and pull off the wheels, then slide the shocks off the shaft. Easier with the whole skid out.
