I thought I read that you can go to a Ski Doo dealer and get these items but wasn't sure. I contacted AD Boivin for a replacement torsional spring and checked on these two items as well. I got their parts list and pricing but wanted to compare pricing. Oh, and yes I've already contacted SpeedShop and CP Performance; they sell the complete suspension. ;)!

You can get replacement hyfax at any skidoo dealer. They are what is reffered to as profile #8. This corresponds to the shape and width. You will probably have to cut the length from the skidoo length. Just cut to the length of the ones you remove. You also might have to trim one of your track windows just a little wider to remove without removing the skid. I think I paid about $16 each slide for colored ones at the local skidoo dealer. Wheels are also skidoo parts.

sinjinrx1, thanks for the slider profile info...you saved me the hassle of taking a digital pic of them and emailing it to the Ski Doo I've contacted to get these items. He sounded like getting a 100mm idler wheel would not be a problem also but I was wondering if he was going to just get out of Parts Unlimited. I'll be sure to mention that the idler wheel should be a Ski Doo idler as well. You wouldn't happen to recall that part number would you?

AD Boivin actually only wanted $21 for their slider but I'm worried about how much the shipping will be. Is shipping from Canada to the US just as expensive as shipping from the US to the Canada?

RobX-1, The original idlers were Skidoo parts either 100mm or 135mm depending on which ones.
I haven't had to replace mine, but aftermarket wheels should be ok as long as they are the right size and the diameter of the hole is correct.

The Hyfax is for the older C-5 suspension that doo used in the mid 90's (Pre-Long travel).

Ask your Doo dealer for hyfax for a 95 or 96 Formula III 600 and you will be all set.
