Hello to all the Yammi riders out there! I'm new to this site but not new to riding Yamaha sleds. I used to ride a 2002 SXR up until this season when I purchased a 2006 Vector ER with only 600 miles on it. I have been reading many of the topics for a while and have added the dooleys to help the steering but after riding approx. 500 miles the front 1/3 of the carbide is almost wore off. I haven't rode on pavement other than crossing highways. I liked how it carved corners at first but now pushes pretty good. Any ideas why the front third is almost gone but the back carbide strip is almost new? I also noticed you had a ride where I do the majority of my riding in Cranberry Lake NY. Too bad it was too thin when everyone was here as now the trails are outstanding! So any help would be great.
