Today my dad ordered a Viper XTX SE from RJ Sport and Cycle for $11,999. For an extra $200 they threw in a 5 year warranty, not bad at all! Apparently Yamaha has already reached their limit on Viper orders for this season.
I'm jealous to say the least. I can't wait to see the finished sled next Fall.

IMO, Pre order sales are a complete success from what I have gathered.

My dad and I have also both snowchecked vipers from RJ's. he ordered a Viper LTX, I ordered LTX SE. That has always been a good dealer for us although I think MN in general is more expensive for sled prices. Doesn't make sense since they only have to truck them a couple hundred miles.
