FAST M-10 Front Bolts Coming Loose

I recently installed a 121" M-10 on my Rx-1. There is about 350 miles on since installation and I noticed the front bolts were almost out. I have no idea why they turned themselves out, but this can't be good. I put on "Red Loc Tight" and hope this will solve the problem. Has anyone else come across this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions why this would happen. The front bolts are socket head (Grade 8), Grade 8 flat washer, and a lock washer. Thanks for ideas and suggestions.

I can only think of the following:

1. Threads had something on them where the Loctite wouldn't cure properly.
2. Bad lockwashers (??)
3. Theaded shafts - see #1 above
4. Not torqued right at install
5. Bad Loctite
6.. Isn't there different grades of red Loctite?

#1 and/or #3 would seem to be the likely culprits.

Washers wear the base metal away, causing the bolt to loosen sometimes too. Be careful using RED. Get higher grade fasteners, if possible, because you can break bolts removing them if you can't heat them up (without melting things) first.

Same thing happened to me on my RX1 in fact came off entirely. After I sold teh sled the fellow said the rear shock came lose also.

Thanks guys. I will have to monitor first few rides since I put red loctite. I hope it works and can be rmoved. I don't want it coming out from under me at 90 mph. I may have to clean threaded shaft if it continues like said above. The lock washers were new with kit, but maybe different ones are required. Thanks
