Boy, we are having a cold snap at nights....the temperature right now is -39C with the dewpoint at -44C and winds of 9KMH...-56 I believe...Brrr. Too cold for non-furred clothing...Almost full moon too!
Cheers to those who have had a warmer than normal winter...
It went to -8 during the day and -15 at nights in February, so now we have had a reversal of sorts. Need to keep all vehicles plugged in or inside a heated garage.

Were preety cold but shes all ice, cant ride anywhere without burning the sliders.
At least we will have ice until May!

Too powdery down there, but if you tamped the snow unto a huge pile and let it harden a bit, you can dig out a similar den shape emergency shelter.8)
Wonder why Survivorman never used that? Digging into a snowbank? Lot easier if you cannot make an igloo.
