After 3 1/2 years and countless hours on this website I have finally got my nitro to what it should have been in the first place. This is what has been done to it and the after effects of each. I started with a 2010 RTX SE because I ride tug hill and the trails can get rough. I had a 2005 ski- doo MXZ800x and it worked well on the Tug hill bumps. I had some limited test rides on the nytro and it rode ok for the small test rides I had done. When I got my sled the rear suspension was sprung way to soft and the suspension had no progression. I sent my shocks to Hygear and had the Pro-mod shock package installed. The Highgear package helped a little but sled still handled poorley and I crashed off the trail and bent a a-arm and subframe. For 2011 I bought a Ski doo MXZXRS 800 etec and I put my Nytro progect on the back burner. Last year I installed a Oft relocate, 144 tiped up rail extension and a backcountry track. I also installed a 42" skins concept a- arm kit, a plus two WRP seat, mountain cooler and tunnel bracing. We didn't have much snow so I didn't get sled dialed in last year. This year I bought a MPI 180 turbo kit with a prologger boost and AFR, temp guage with a Lake effect handlebar risor. I also got a good deal on some Ohlins PRX shocks for the rear suspension. I have now got the sled all dialed in. The sled is a little heavy but its a blast to ride. The power is amazing it has a lot more seat of the pants power than my 06 apex. The rear shocks are great and the sled finally can handle the bumps that I had hoped it would. the oft Relocater fixes the funny handlebar angle. Now I have 7000 mi on my ski doo so Im finally going to ride turbo nytro the way it should have been from the factory.

got it right

I forgot some other mods, Hid headlights, yamaheater with boost for hands, pilot skis for handling and bumpsteer. I tried C&A razors but they didn't handle too well and turned hard. 2100 nm springs hygear spring spacers, xblock adjusters and DuPont slides

I love seeing feedback like this. I'm glad OFT was able to help you get your sled where you want it! The Nytro is a incredible sled that you will get back out of it what you put into it.

Isn't that 42" Skinz front end amazing?!

Thank you for your business.
