Yes track ratcheting. Tighten her up. You're definately going to push with that many studs in and the stock ski's/carbides.

Anyone want to specify how to tighten a track? the manual says loosen the rear axle nut, then talks about adjusting the track deflection, to the left and right. How do we tighten up the front to back slop, or will it tighten the more we turn the nuts out (there by gaining pressure one side or another)?

Turn the track until you can see the nuts through the track window then loosen the rear axle. Then when you tighten the nuts through the track windows be sure to tighten them equally. I just went with small adjustments (1/2 turns on each) till it has stopped. If you don't tighten then equally you will through off the alignment of the track. If you make the track too tight it will burn out your sliders really quick. It is actually pretty easy. I believe the rear axle requires a 17mm wrench and torqued to 54 lbs... although you better check that last figure in the manual. Hope that helps.
